Hair Extensions

At Marele Co. we endeavour to provide you with the best hair extensions along with the most safest and up to date method of application. We ONLY use 100 % human virgin Russian hair. An initial thorough consultation is conducted in salon to determine the condition of your hair and if you have any pre existing conditions that may affect having hair extensions. In the consultation we also assess the density and colour of your hair. This allows us to create the perfect blend. You won't even notice or feel you have extensions in! Trained and certified with over 5 years hair extension experience and knowledge, you are in safe hands and we
will make sure you are 100% satisfied with our service.
Tapes
Tapes are a great and quick way to add length and volume to your hair. We offer 21 and 25 inch in length (longer hair can be custom ordered) and a variety of colours to match your hair. We use 100% human hair. Hair can be styled and dyed and with good care, has a life of approx. 1.5 years. The tape is approx. 4cm in width and weighs around 44 grams. Your hair is placed flat in between two adhesive keratin tapes. With good care and maintenance tapes will not damage your natural hair. Re tape is required every 6-8 weeks- failing to do so may result in your hair getting matted which in turn will make the hair not last very long and further damage to your natural hair may occur. Initial consultation is required prior to any application.
Keratin Bonds
Microbonds (generally known as "keratin bonds) offer a super diverse and seamless wear. Although it takes a little longer in the chair, keratin bonds truly have more flexibility when it comes to having hair tied up and do not need re fitting for 4- 6 months.
Bonds are applied strand by strand to
the natural hair via a heating tool which
melts the keratin glue onto your
natural hair for a secure hold. When removing, the bond is broken with
pliers and slide out from your hair
without any damage. Re bonding is
available at Marele Co, and is done
over 2 sittings. First sitting is to remove
and the other is to apply. Hair lasts up to 1 year and is also 100% human hair. Initial consultation is required prior to any application.
